Knowledge is power, but just 20% of the 11,000+ business leaders and full time workers we surveyed are data literate.

Who is empowered and has access to data?

The research reveals far from a level playing field when it comes to data use and access. Only 24% of the 11,000+ business leaders and full time workers we surveyed feel empowered and proficient in using data in their job.

Who is most willing to invest more time and energy to improve their data skillset?

An overwhelming majority (70%) said they would like to improve their data skillset – if given the chance.

The research was conducted by Censuswide on behalf of Qlik. The research was with 1,042 US business decision makers. Research was carried out between 09.21.2017 - 09.26.2017.
